介系詞是 TOEIC Part 5 的高頻考點，常考固定搭配（collocations）及介系詞慣用語，必須透過大量閱讀與累積熟悉用法。出題時常結合動詞、名詞或形容詞搭配特定介系詞，例如 responsible for、apply for、participate in，考生需整體記憶而非單獨背誦介系詞。此外，也要熟悉表示時間、地點、方向、原因及手段等常見介系詞的用法，才能快速判斷正確答案。

- 技巧 1. 介系詞置於名詞、代名詞、動名詞或名詞子句之前。（必考）
- 技巧 2. since 之後須接時間名詞、within 之後須接期間名詞。
- 技巧 3. 介系詞 by 與帶有完成或結束意味的動詞是最佳拍檔，而 until 的好夥伴則是帶有持續意味的動詞。
- 技巧 4. 不及物動詞與介系詞總是「出雙入對」。
- 技巧 5. regarding 也是介系詞。
