Although the verb 養 can mean both "to raise" and "to take care of," in English, the verb "raise" is only used in reference to bringing up children and animals. So, unless the speaker has a rather low opinion of the lady in question, it’s safer to use "take care of".
雖然英文 raise 和 take care of 皆可指「養」這個動作，
但是 “raise” 只能用來指「撫養小孩」和「照養動物」。
因此，除非說話者看不起所討論的女性，或帶有貶低的意味，
用 “take care of” 這個片語來表達還是比較保險的。
