◆ 非正式／敘事式開場白
 

1.  I’ve wanted to 　V1　 ... ever since .... After 　Ving　, I am confident that I can 　V2　 ....
      打從……我就想要  動詞 1  。在  動名詞  後，我深信我能  動詞 2  。

例  I’ve wanted to work at CTiTV ever since I was a business administration undergrad at Chengchi University, but at that time I wasn’t yet fully prepared to make a significant contribution. After interning at McDonalds Corporation while receiving my MBA from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia, I am confident that I can now make that contribution.
     打從我在政治大學企管系就讀時，就想要進中天電視台工作，但當時我還沒有完全準備好能帶來有意義的貢獻。在喬治亞大學的泰瑞商學院獲得企管碩士學位同時又在麥當勞公司實習過後，我深信現在能帶來這樣的貢獻了。
 

2.  I’ve been a 　N　 ever since .... More recently, I (have) 　Ved　 ....
      打從……我就是個  名詞  。以最近來說，我  過去分詞  。

例  I’ve been an avid cyclist since my mother brought home a tricycle on my fifth birthday. More recently, I organized a ride around the island last year, so you can imagine how pleased I was when I saw Giant’s ad for a PR specialist.
   自從家母在我五歲生日時買了一輛三輪車回家之後，我就是個超愛騎腳踏車的人。以最近來說，我在去年籌劃了一趟單車環島活動，所以您可以想見，當我看到捷安特徵公關專員的廣告時，我有多開心。
