How to Add Information to the Topic Sentence
本文將學習如何透過添加資訊、想法來發展主題句。
首先要特別注意的是，在添加想法時，必須確保為主題句所增添的資訊不是特定的例子，也不是對比或不贊同的意見。
在台灣，人們常用 moreover 和 furthermore 來新增資訊。可惜的是，在英文裡它們很少出現，甚至很少被使用。因為這些字聽起來很不自然，所以最好盡可能避免使用它們。
以下是一些相對較推薦使用的字詞和例句：

進一步要考慮到的重點在於……
例 The arts are important for a civilized society. A further point to consider is the employment that the arts offer to many people.
藝術對文明社會很重要。要進一步考慮到的重點在於，藝術為很多人所提供的就業機會。
Another good thing about ... is that ...
……的另一個好處在於……
例 Another good thing about regular exercise is that it has mental health benefits.
規律運動的另一個好處在於它對心理健康有益。
Another reason why ... is that ...
為什麼……的另一個理由在於……
例 Another reason why exercise is good for you is that it has many mental health benefits.
