電影：《金法尤物-2001》

電影《芭比》紅透半邊天，然而早在 20 幾年前，就有一部法律版的「芭比」電影上演了，描寫一位時尚的金髮辣妹，為了與男友結婚，努力考上哈佛大學法學院，成為她男友的同學，最後如願考取律師資格，並將她的渣男男友甩掉，情節彷彿《芭比》的故事，充滿時尚、美感與幽默，兼具知性與感性，還帶有幾分勵志，尤其女主角也長得頗像真人芭比，連粉紅色洋裝的打扮都一模一樣，十分有趣。

本片涉及許多時尚美容和法律交錯的英文，是一部典型的法律題材和其他題材結合的英語學習教材，可廣泛運用在法律考試、公職考試與一般英語檢測，是筆者推動法學英文結合其他英文題材學習的經典範例，以下就以本部電影片段為例，示範如何透過法學英文，將英文單字集中化、規模化、效率化的產量。

情節對白

- Exactly. Because isn’t it the first cardinal rule of perm maintenance that you’re forbidden to wet your hair for at least 24 hours after getting a perm at the risk of deactivating the ammonium thioglycolate?

- Yes.

- And wouldn’t somebody whos had, say 30 perms before in their life be well aware of this rule? And if you weren’t washing your hair, as I suspect you werent, because your curls are still intact, wouldn’t you have heard the gunshot? And if, in fact, you had heard the gunshot, Brooke Windham wouldn’t have had time to hide the gun before you got downstairs, which would mean that you would’ve had to have found Mrs Windham with a gun in her hand to make your story plausible. Isn’t that right?

- She’s my age, did she tell you that? How would you feel if your father married someone your age?

- You, however, had time to hide the gun, didnt you, Chutney? After you shot your father.

- I didn’t mean to shoot him. I thought it was you walking through the door.

- Order. Order. Order. Bailiff, take the witness into custody, where she will be charged for the murder of Heyworth Windham. In the matter of The State v. Brooke Windham, this case is dismissed.

女主角：溫德姆小姐，當天稍早時妳在做什麼？
